Lagan wins £35m Salford resi contract

Belfast-based Lagan Building Contractors has started on site with the construction of Outwood Wharf, a scheme of 263 apartments and townhouses in Salford.
Peterloo Estates was granted planning permission for the project, designed by IBI Group, in January 2016.
The development on Hulme Street is spread across a six-, eight- and 18-storey block, around an enclosed central courtyard.
Jon Adams, managing director of Lagan Building Contractors, said: “Phase one of Outwood Wharf is an anchor project for Lagan, to demonstrate its intent in the North West to strategically and organically grow its business from its newly established regional office in Manchester.”
