Knight Frank consults retail partner over job loss

Andrea George, partner in retail agency at Knight Frank's Manchester office, is being consulted over redundancy after the company decided to consolidate its UK shop leasing service to its London office.
George was promoted to partner in November last year. She joined the agency as part of Knight Frank's acquisition of niche retail/leisure agency Markham Vaughan Gillingham in June 2008.
Alistair Elliott, head of commercial division, Knight Frank, said: "After a business review it was agreed that the UK retail network will continue to serve the Manchester area from London."
George was unavailable for comment.
