King joins Roger Hannah

Michael King, a former principal at Avison Young, is now a consultant at the Manchester-based commercial property services company.

King has 40 years of experience in the property sector and is a specialist when it comes to compulsory purchase instructions and expert witness valuations. In addition to Avison Young, he has also worked at Cushman & Wakefield and Dunlop Heywood.

King left Avison Young in March to pursue his independent consultancy business, M A King consulting.

At Roger Hannah, King will use his skills as an expert witness to aid the company’s clients.

Roger Hannah managing director Simon Cook praised King’s hire.

“His experience and reputation in the North West market is of the highest calibre, and he will allow us to extend both our service offering and the breadth of our clientele,” Cook said.

“I have personally worked against Mike on several instructions over the years, and it is wonderful to have him working with us rather than in the opposite corner.”

King said he was proud to be joining Roger Hannah as a consultant.
