As a fast growing and highly ambitious property investment company we are now looking for a Development Manager to join our dynamic team based in Sale, Manchester.
The role of Development Manager is all-encompassing in that you will 'own' the project from identifying the site right through to disposal/letting of the last unit. The successful applicant needs to be comfortable with all aspects of the development process or show a keen willingness to learn, get stuck into the detail and have an ability to deliver quality.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the development process including:
- Identification and acquisition of the site
- Feasibility
- Supervising budgets
- Running development appraisals
- Securing planning consents
- Instructing design teams, and dealing with contractors, legal teams, agents and key stakeholders
Person specification:
- Several years' development experience with an entrepreneurial spirit and an eagerness to learn
- A property or design related degree and subsequent professional qualification (MRICS / RIBA) is preferred but not essential
