Evander Properties, the logistics and industrial property developer and asset manager, is to build an 183,000 sq ft logistics and distribution unit at Revolution Park in Chorley.

The speculative scheme is funded by British Airways Pension Fund and has detailed planning consent. Construction will commence in January 2015.

The unit will comprise of 170,000 sq ft of warehousing with 12,500 sq ft of offices over two storeys.

Jeremy Greenland, managing director of Evander, said: "We feel the timing is right to develop out this final plot at Revolution Park and are ready to start on site immediately after Christmas. This is a marker of our and BAPF's continued confidence in the prime North West shed market. We look forward to attracting an occupier to the scheme very soon."

Retained agents are DTRE, JLL, Moriarty & Co and Littler & Co.
