Iris moves HQ to Booths Park
Bruntwood has let a 10,519 sq ft office at Booths Park in Knutsford to Iris Software Group, its twelfth deal of the year at the site.
Iris will consolidate three North West offices employing 100 people at Nantwich, Lymm and Handforth into No. 4 Booths Park as its new regional headquarters.
The deal leaves 40,000 sq ft to let at the 240,000 sq ft park, which Bruntwood has spent £11m redeveloping.
Matthew Duckworth, Bruntwood sales surveyor at Booths Park, said: "The £17.50/sq ft rent we've agreed with Iris, which includes 40 car spaces, represents exceptionally good value in the Knutsford market. Quoting rents in Knutsford have reached £18.75/sq ft for space that does not match the quality or level of service Bruntwood provides at Booths Park, which could explain why Booths Park continues to attract businesses, despite the current economic climate."
David Laws of Edwards & Co, joint acting agent at Booths Park with King Sturge, commented: "Bruntwood's recent refurbishment of the estate has confirmed its status as an outstanding business community in the North West. Iris Software joins a host of high profile existing occupiers including AMEC NNC and Alstom Power, which pays testament to the quality and service provided at the park."
