Investors swoop on Matrix Park

An undisclosed pension fund has bought an 8,880 sq ft office building from Redrow at Matrix Park in Chorley, Lancashire.

The building is unlet but it has been linked with business telecoms provider Elitetele.com.

"This is a major coup given market conditions", said Redrow's commercial property development director, Adrian Lewis. "We have worked hard to secure an occupier for Dawson House and our efforts have been rewarded with the entire building being purchased."

In a separate deal, a 7,700 sq ft unit at Binary Court, Matrix Park's industrial and distribution scheme, has been purchased by occupier NIS Holdings.

Other occupiers at Binary Court include bicycle components wholesaler Bob Elliott & Co, Direct Heating Spares, PM Autobody, I-Care UK, AK Stainless, Direct Displays and Exhibitions and Craig Specialist Services.

DTZ and King Sturge are joint agents on Matrix Park.
