Identity Consult appoints director

Simon Lomiiko has been promoted to the senior role at the independent development and construction consultancy after joining the firm 10 years ago as a graduate.

Lomiiko is part of Identity Consult’s employer’s agent, cost consultant, and project management teams. During his time with Identity Consult, Lomiiko has developed an expertise in supporting the delivery of affordable and sustainable homes, as well as educational buildings.

As director, Lomiiko will help lead the teams at Identity Consult’s Salford and Preston offices, the latter of which he will be looking to expand.

Regarding his priorities as a director, Lomiiko said: “Along with my colleagues, I am committed to delivering much-needed North West housing developments – combatting adverse market challenges and proactively moving sites forward – especially affordable, eco, and additional needs homes.”

Lomiiko is no stranger to helping Identity Consult grow its North West presence, having helped establish Identity Consult’s Salford office alongside director Alex Atkinson.

The company also cited his assistance with helping the firm double its North West turnover in the past three years – with the company achieving a turnover of £1.5m in the past year.

Atkinson praised Lomiiko’s “admirable, unwavering commitment”, to the company.

“He is a true mentor for future talent, particularly spending time helping others move into the sector through sharing his expertise,” she said.

“Yet it is his approach to pioneering sustainable housing and as an advocate for collaboration, simplifying procurement, and making schemes more deliverable, which makes him stand out within the sector. On behalf of all of his colleagues, we congratulate Simon on his achievement.”

Identity Consult is headquartered in Sunderland and has offices in York, Preston, and Salford. With a staff of 70, the company offers a variety of services, including project management, cost consultancy, digital construction, and employer’s agency.
