How to do MIPIM well in 2025

Delegates heading to MIPIM for the first time this year were treated to a masterclass on what to expect and how to have a successful time in Cannes at an intimate Place North event last night.

Held at JMW’s Manchester office, How to do MIPIM well brought together a quartet of experts on the global property expo to share their insights 53 days out from this year’s show.

Thomas Pearson, partner at JMW, Luma Marketing founder Lucy Lomas, and Place North managing partner Dino Moutsopoulos know MIPIM better than most and took to the stage to cover topics including the best way to fill your diary, the importance of planning ahead, and what to pack.

Meanwhile, Jake Lowe, UK director at MIPIM organiser RX Global, gave an overview of how the conference would run in 2025 and explained the thinking behind the UK Hub, where Place North will run the event’s first ever Northern stand.

The second instalment of How to do MIPIM well forms part of Place North’s growing commitment to supporting the built environment community before, during, and after the conference.

“MIPIM is the biggest annual event for the property industry,” Moutsopoulos said.

“As Place North continues to grow, both in the UK and at MIPIM, we are keen to consult and advise our clients on what will work best for them.”

He added: “How to do MIPIM well is no different. We want everyone going to MIPIM to have the best experience and get the best return on their investment.

“This event is a great opportunity for us to engage new readers in how to make the most of MIPIM and also showcase the unique benefits that only Place North is offering at the show.”

This year, as part of its broad MIPIM offer, Place North is selling tickets to the conference at a significantly discounted rate to its signed-up partners.

As well as discounted tickets, other benefits available to partners include engaging content and networking opportunities on the Place-run pan-Northern stand, unrivalled online profiling opportunities, and a curated delegation dinner in Manchester a month before MIPIM.
