Hoole heads North to bolster AY’s offices team

Dom Hoole has relocated from London to Manchester having been appointed a director in Avison Young’s national offices team.

Hoole joins from London-based agency XIX where he spent the last 15 months. All told, he has spent the last 10 years in the capital, enjoying stints with Colliers and Cushman & Wakefield.

A Salford University graduate, his role with Avison Young sees Hoole move back to Manchester.

In his new role, Hoole will service the full office sector, supporting existing clients and building on landlord, investor ,and developer clients along with strengthening and growing Avison Young’s occupier advisory capabilities, AY said.

With Manchester’s annual take-up for 2025 expected to clock in at around the 1.2m sq ft mark, Hoole said it is a “pivotal time” for the city’s office market.

“It is an incredibly exciting opportunity,” he said.

“The city region is seeing sustained investment, ambitious development and a real appetite for high-quality workspace.”

He added: “After over a decade advising occupiers in London and internationally, I’m looking forward to bringing this experience to the North West, supporting Avison Young’s existing clients, strengthening our landlord and occupier offer, and helping the team secure and deliver standout projects across the city and wider region.”

Rupert Barron, director of Manchester office agency at Avison Young, added: “Dom’s appointment marks a significant step in the continued growth of our national offices team. His depth of experience brings fresh insight into how global occupiers are thinking, working and investing.

“That knowledge is invaluable as we continue to elevate our advisory capabilities and deliver results for clients. Dom’s arrival adds energy and momentum to the team, and we’re very pleased to welcome him to Avison Young.”
