Homes England appoints 66 delivery partners

Muse Developments, Eric Wright Group and Castle Green Homes are among the companies to be part of the £20bn Homes England Dynamic Purchasing System framework.

This framework is part of an overhaul of how procurements and land disposals are handled. Homes England is moving towards a digital platform that allows developers and housebuilders to apply to be named a preferred delivery partner at any time, rather than just when the list renews every four years. The framework and DPS were announced in September.

“This marks a significant step forward in the way we work with developers to build homes,” said Stephen Kinsella, chief land and development officer with Homes England. “The flexibility of the DPS means that housebuilders can apply to join when it suits them, or when they see a relevant site on our Land Hub.”

Of the 66 companies appointed to the framework, 24 are SMEs.

Sister companies Muse and Lovell, both part of Morgan Sindall Group, were part of the initial 66 groups to be named preferred delivery partners.

Lovell managing director Steve Coleby said the company was “very proud of” its appointment to the framework.

“The DPS framework is the largest of its kind and provides many exciting future development opportunities, supporting us to achieve our purpose of transforming communities through innovative new residential construction and regeneration programmes and delivering much-needed housing across England.”
