HIMOR secures office, industrial tenants
HIMOR Group has reported lettings at Ship Canal House, Manchester, and Bradley Hall Trading Estate, Standish.
At the 70,000 sq ft Ship Canal House, Core Education & Consulting Solutions and its recruitment division, ITN Mark, signed a 10-year lease on a 2,700 sq ft office suite. The firm's arrival take the whole of the eighth floor to fully occupied.
Paul Codling, head of agency at HIMOR, said he was negotiating with an occupier for the ground floor, which would leave only the seventh floor of 5,585 sq ft and a small suite on the fourth floor of 970 sq ft available.
At Bradley Hall Trading Estate, luxury car exporter GV Logistics, and fit-out contractor Naylor & Walkden (Fit-Out), took occupation of 11,200 sq ft in January.
Paul Wrigglesworth, associate director of HIMOR, said: "In autumn last year we announced a new marketing scheme for the estate whereby we would accept introductions, rather than using retained agents. This appears to be reaping rewards, but we will work hard in 2013 to ensure occupancy improves even further. In addition to the recent lettings we are also in discussions with a number of our customers who are looking to upgrade to larger units. Some businesses clearly feel the time is right to make the move now before supply dwindles further."
