HCA offers land management contracts
The Homes & Communities Agency is seeking to appoint a framework of land managers to inspect its vast estate, with an estimated annual fee value of £650,000 in the North.
The HCA, a government department, owns 10,000 acres in the North West, North East, Yorkshire and Midlands.
The four-year framework has a budget of between £2.2m and £3m in the North to "provide a service to assist the HCA in the management and inspection of its land portfolio, report upon risks and advise upon innovation and best practise in land and risk management."
A separate lot of the same scale is being put out to tender for the South. The two might be combined into a single national framework, the HCA said.
Bidders have until March 2014 to get involved in the procurement process.
