Greyhound for sale with £64m price tag

Landsec has put the 176,000 sq ft second phase of Greyhound Retail Park in Chester on the market for £64m, a year after the 120,000 sq ft first phase was sold by Standard Life to Aprirose Real Estate for £36m.

The out-of-town retail park on Sealand Road operates as one shopping destination, with a mix of occupiers.

Landsec’s element totals 16 acres and 12 occupiers, including a 38,000 sq ft John Lewis. There is also a neighbouring 16 acre plot to be included in the deal.

Cushman & Wakefield is the agent disposing of the park.

In August last year, Standard Life completed a deal with Aprirose Real Estate to sell its share of the park, which includes units occupied by retailers such as Dunelm and Furnitureland.
