Frogmore secures Altrincham deal
Frogmore Real Estate Partners, advised by letting agent Edwards & Co, has completed a 15-year leasehold deal with house builder McCarthy & Stone on an 11,201 sq ft self-contained office building in Altrincham Business Park.
Ed Keany, associate director at Edwards & Co, said: "Attracting an occupier of McCarthy & Stone's status is a fantastic result for the business park and reinforces the park's potential as a hub for national and local businesses that require high specification offices in an attractive landscaped environment.
"The office units provide flexible floorplates that are designed to meet individual occupier needs in one of South Manchester's most-sought after towns. Furthermore, the scheme gives occupiers a unique opportunity to operate in a secure managed estate with not only generous car parking provisions but superb public transport links and excellent access to the local retail and leisure amenities."
Dean Young of Young & Co Property Consultants acted on behalf of McCarthy & Stone. Young explained: "The tenant needed the space to facilitate McCarthy & Stone`s anticipated significant growth in the foreseeable future and were able to work closely with Frogmore in order to accommodate their requirement. Unit 3 Edward Court provides the growth potential we required within a high-quality detached office with loads of car parking."
Current occupiers on the business park include EASL, Mentor Graphics, Health Management, Milner Boardman, Thermo Electron and Printerland.
Savills are joint agents on the scheme with Edwards & Co.
