Forshaw joins Worthington Owen
Founders Mark Worthington and Andrew Owen have welcomed former Bruntwood director Colin Forshaw to their ranks.
Forshaw has joined Liverpool-based commercial property consultancy Worthington Owen as it celebrates its 10th year of trading this month.
He spent just shy of a quarter of a century at Bruntwood, joining the business in the year 2000. Forshaw most recently held the role of development director at Bruntwood SciTech, the joint venture between Bruntwood, Legal & General, and the Greater Manchester Pension Fund.
Last year Forshaw set up Glacier, an independent property consultancy. He has now joined Worthington Owen in a full-time capacity.
“I am delighted to be joining up with Worthington Owen especially as they mark their 10th anniversary,” Forshaw said.
“Having been a client of theirs for the last 10 years, I have admired how the business has become established and contributed considerably to the commercial property market in Liverpool City Region. I am excited to be part of the next phase, complementing and broadening the services we provide to our clients.’’
Notable deals with Worthington Owen’s name against them over the last decade include the 270,000 sq ft letting to HMRC at India Buildings and Sony’s acquisition of the Echo Building.
Worthington Owen is the retained agents on the Port of Liverpool Building, No 4 and No 5 St Paul’s Square, and Exchange Flags.
“It has been a whirlwind first 10 years for the business and we are extremely grateful for the support we have received from clients during this period,” said co-founder Andrew Owen.
“Colin will be a great addition to the business and will only bolster the offering that we can provide”.
Mark Worthington said he is looking forward to continuing a relationship that spans three decades.
“Colin is a very well-known and highly regarded property professional who I have enjoyed working with for 25 years,” he said.
“His varied client-side experience means he can offer a different perspective and wider knowledge that I think will be of real benefit to our clients.”
