Anthropologie sets up 7,000 sq ft Liverpool ONE home

The womenswear and homeware brand has taken its first steps into the North West, signing a 10-year lease on part of the former Flannels unit.

Anthropologie’s Liverpool ONE store will span 7,000 sq ft with 5,000 sq ft of retail space. It is due to open this autumn.

The entrance to the store would be off St Peter’s Lane, and the retailer joins other high-end outfits courting space at the shopping centre, which Landsec bought for £490m last year.

Earlier this year, luxury footwear and clothing store ARNE signed on for a 6,750 sq ft store, which is set to open its St Peter’s Lane doors in July.

In a deal agreed before Landsec’s purchase of the site, UNIQLO is set to move into a 25,000 sq ft space off Paradise Street.

Rob Deacon, asset management director at Liverpool ONE, hailed 2025 as “a year of huge momentum” for the shopping centre, adding that Anthropologie represents a “leading international retailer” that “aligns perfectly” with the brands that Landsec is set on offering floorspace.

Matt Hilgeman, managing director at Anthropologie International, added: “We’re excited to be bringing Anthropologie to Liverpool with our first standalone store in the North West.

“Creativity is at the heart of everything we do – from our product curation to the in-store experience – so opening in a city with such a rich cultural identity feels like a natural fit.”

Landsec acquired a 69% stake held by the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority and the 23% stake controlled by the scheme’s original developers, Grosvenor.

Have visited the one in Regent St a number of times, and seen the one in Belfast, imagine ladies from the Wirral will love shopping here.
Landsec off to a flying start, can they please purchase the ex Police Headquarters site as it been idle for a few years now, you’d think Merseyside Police were rolling in money.
