First wave of Wolstenholme resi blocks completed
The five mixed-use blocks which make up Elliot Group’s One Wolstenholme Square in Liverpool have been completed.
Designed by Falconer Chester Hall and built by Newry Construction, the buildings total 447 apartments, along with commercial space, cafés, gym, restaurants and retail units.
The blocks wrap around three sides of Wolstenholme Square, at the centre of which is the Penelope sculpture, created by artist Jorge Pardo.
The buildings form the first phase of Elliot’s £100m regeneration of the square. In January, Newry started work on the final element of the scheme, a 200-apartment block called The Address.
The project also includes the 116-bedroom Seel Street hotel, which was completed in December.
One Wolstenholme Square is managed by Urbanbubble, with three of the blocks already fully tenanted. Experience Invest sold the flats off-plan to buy-to-let investors.
Elliot Lawless, director of Elliot Group, added: “One Wolstenholme Square is a stunning new development in the heart of Liverpool. It delivers stylish, convenient and modern city living with additional commercial spaces to support Liverpool’s thriving economy. It is great to see tenants ready to move into many of the available apartments and bring the development to life.”
These look great. A quiet little square of oasis among the streets of nightlife madness
