Event | Permanent relief from the floodplain headache
Hill Dickinson is hosting a special seminar next month to explore the challenges of building on a floodplain and to offer a genuine solution to the barriers facing development on high flood-risk land.
Property partner, Jim Garton, will chair the sessions on 16 November at Lancashire County Cricket Club in Old Trafford, due to take place from 3.30pm to 7.45pm.
The weeks of storms in January and February this year reignited the debate over whether to build on floodplains, with a growing number of voices claiming that they should be a ‘no go zone’ for much-needed new housing.
