Eric Wright delivers Oldham trade counter scheme

The Lancashire property group has completed the £2.5m Victoria Trading Estate in Oldham and announced that the 30,000 sq ft scheme is already 70% let.

Developed by the group’s development arm Maple Grove and built by Eric Wright Construction, the project comprises seven units ranging from 2,600 sq ft to 10,000 sq ft, each complete with loading doors and designated car parking. Occupiers include Howdens, Toolstation and Sally Salon.

Three units each of 3,050 sq ft remain at the scheme located off the A62 Manchester Road close to junction 22 of the M60.

The site will be managed by Eric Wright Facilities Management.

Jim Carter, deputy chairman of Eric Wright Group, said: “Victoria Trading Estate is a true group effort, showcasing how our full service property offering works together to create a quality development that’s generating huge demand.

“The site caters for specific trade counter requirements and will bring major benefits to the local area by increasing the business population and creating new employment opportunities. Following the success of this scheme, we’re looking for similar sites to develop nationwide and replicate this approach.”

Nolan Redshaw is agent on the scheme.
