DTZ named on NHS framework

Surveyor DTZ has been appointed by NHS Shared Business Services to provide a range of property services to NHS Trusts in the North West and beyond.

DTZ was appointed as part of a framework agreement that will last for four years. The contract will involve providing NHS Trusts with the full range of property and estates services, including acquisitions and disposals, valuations, rent and leasing advice and estate strategies. DTZ is one of a number of organisations appointed by NHS SBS.

John Keyes, director of DTZ's corporate real estate consulting team, said: "DTZ already has a good relationship with many NHS Trusts in the North West and we understand the challenges they face in seeking to manage their estates more efficiently, so that the focus can remain on patients. We believe the framework will give trusts a straightforward means of obtaining the advice they need to get best value from their properties. We look forward to working with NHS SBS and giving trusts in the region even greater access to DTZ's substantial resources and expertise."
