Double letting at Trafford Park

Appliance World and HYVA UK have taken up two warehouses totalling more than 90,000 sq ft at the industrial site, allowing The Fragrance Group to consolidate its services there.

Appliance World has taken over The Fragrance Group’s existing lease, which expires in five years, on a 45,000 sq ft facility at Premier Park as it looks to relocate from its previous premises in Swinton.

At Churchill Point, HYVA has agreed a 10-year lease on a 45,100 sq ft office and warehouse space. Situated on a two-acre site, the facility has been acquired at £9.25 per sq ft.

These deals follow The Fragrance Group’s letting of the 190,000 sq ft Metro190 in December 2021, consolidating its services at Trafford Park. The industrial scheme was developed by logistics developer PLP and Legal & General’s Industrial Property Investment Fund and offers 190,000 sq ft of industrial space.

Davies Harrison Real Estate acted on behalf of The Fragrance Group. The agent has also been retained by Northwood to market Bridgewater Point, its 130,000 sq ft flagship scheme at Trafford Park, set to complete by the end of the year.

Rick Davies, director of Davies Harrison, said: “Trafford Park retains its position as one of the most sought after industrial and distribution destinations in the region with demand consistently high irrespective of changing market conditions.

“Properties of this magnitude such as these rarely come to the market and, as such, attract significant interest.”

Joe Wilshaw of Roberts Vain Wilshaw represented HYVA.
