Dawson becomes surveyor in GVA hotel and leisure team
The Manchester office of independent property consultancy GVA has appointed Tom Dawson as a surveyor in its growing hotels and leisure team.
He will work within the team to provide valuation and strategic advice to North West clients, with particular focus on agency instructions.
He first joined the corporate recovery team of GVA Manchester as an undergraduate in 2009, before graduating with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in property development from Sheffield Hallam University in 2011 and relocating to Cardiff to work as part of the valuation services team.
During the two years spent in Cardiff, he provided valuation advice to national banks and strategic property advice for the Welsh Government and Ministry of Justice, which included the implementation of their estate strategies and the preparation of the Welsh Government's annual State of the Estate report.
Led by Peter Constantine and headed in Manchester by Andrew Moore, the hotel and leisure team works on behalf of a number of well-known clients including Enterprise Inns and Punch Taverns.
Dawson said: "Since re-joining as a graduate, I have been given the opportunity to work on a number of high-profile projects for GVA and look forward to working with well-known brands and applying the experience I have gained to the leisure sector."
Nice one Tom, continue the swagger.
