Council awards £1m contract to Minivator

Oldham council has awarded Minivator with a £1m contract to provide and fit stair lifts to properties spread throughout the entire borough in Greater Manchester.

The international stair lift provider will be required to remove the lifts once the need for them has expired.

The requirement calls for the provision of an appropriate stair lift where Minivator will install, provide a fully comprehensive warranty both in parts and labour for the lifetime of the user, which will include service in accordance with manufacturer guidelines, and a breakdown service.

The contract is for a period of five years.
