Conwy moves to demolish Llanrwst library and police station

A county council application has been lodged seeking consent to clear a two-acre site off Station Road in Plas yn Dre.

S J Walchester is to carry out the demolition over six weeks, should Conwy County Council approve.

Both the Llanrwst library and police station buildings have been vacant since they moved to the Glasdir building nearby.

The application seeks to clear the site to slab level before it is then marketed by the county council for redevelopment.

To view the demolition application, use the planning reference number 0/52823 on Conwy County Council’s planning portal.
