Wrexham set to get 137 homes
SG Estates’ plans for the redevelopment of 12 acres of greenfield off Wrexham Road in Rhostyllen are expected to be approved by councillors next week.
The application for 137 homes has been compiled and submitted to Wrexham County Council on SG Estates’ behalf by Daniel Andrews.
Saer Architects has designed the 22 one-bedroom flats and 24 two-, 50 three-, and 41 four-bedroom homes proposed.
The application concerns the northern part of a site that has had outline permission for 223 homes since 2007.
Around five acres of public space and a children’s playground are to be provided on site.

Parking for 82 cars would also be provided, with the site accessed via additional junctions off Wrexham Road.
A furniture warehouse in the centre of the earmarked plot will remain in place, with the properties built around it.
