- BEKKI BANKS | INVEST EAST YORKSHIRE | Bekki is an experienced project manager, supporting major investment projects in the Goole area of East Yorkshire. Part of Invest East Yorkshire, she promotes the region globally, helping businesses of all sizes find suitable sites, develop infrastructure,& access grants & financial assistance. Bekki is passionate about showcasing East Yorkshire’s strengths & securing a prosperous future for the region’s economy.
- ADAM HANDLEY | CATELLA APAM | Adam is a Senior Asset Manager at Catella APAM, responsible for a diverse portfolio of office and industrial assets on behalf of institutional clients, worth £200 million and spanning over 850,000 sq ft. Notably, he leads the strategy for Greater Manchester Pension Fund’s Leeds Valley Park, where he recently secured a record rent for mid-box industrial space in West Yorkshire.
- ALEX DOCHERY | BUSINESS DONCASTER AT DONCASTER COUNCIL | Alex manages the investment team at Business Doncaster, Doncaster Council’s economic development arm. Acting as a front door for commercial developers & investors, the investment team is responsible for attracting inward investment into Doncaster, supporting indigenous business growth & promoting Doncaster as the best place to live, work & invest in. Passionate about economic development & making a difference to local communities, Alex has been in local government for nine years.
- DAVID ROLINSON, SPAWFORTHS | David is a chartered town planner and chairman at Spawforths. With over three & a half decades of experience working as a planning consultant based in Yorkshire, David advises a wide range of industrial & logistics clients including big box logistics & last mile developers; land promoters; inward investors; & SMEs. David provides advice on all aspects of planning & development & regularly gives evidence at major Public Inquiries including on sites within the Green Belt. David is also a member of the Leeds Chamber of Commerce Property Steering Group and co-chairs the Chamber Planning & Housing Forum.
- BEN GAVAGHAN, DLA ARCHITECTURE | Ben is Director at DLA Architecture, leading the industrial and specialist team in delivering both speculative and end user developments. From major distribution hubs to highly technical food production facilities, Ben has extensive experience in master planning, manufacturing, food production, and R&D. Ben works closely with developers, occupiers, and end users to create commercially viable briefs that achieve time, cost, and quality goals. For DLA, industrial architecture can do more than house racking equipment; it can support people, processes, and offer sustainable performance, with good design integral to every stage of the supply chain.
- GRIGORY GREBENNIKOV | GLENCAR | Grigory comes from a carbon specialist background with expertise in building sustainability, decarbonisation, and carbon compliance. He supported businesses in lifecycle assessment methodologies, carbon accounting frameworks, and innovative low-carbon design solutions, enabling organisations to implement effective sustainability initiatives.
- ALISTAIR SMITH | CADDICK DEVELOPMENTS | Alistair brings over 20 years of experience in the property sector, with a strong track record of delivering complex, high-value developments across all sectors. As Director at Caddick Developments, he now predominantly leads on delivery of the company’s 21 million sq ft development pipeline in the Industrial and Logistics sector as well as working on acquisitions, tenant coordination and asset management across the portfolio.
Most recently Alistair oversaw the delivery of Leeds Valley Park, a 300,000 sq ft strategically located mid-box logistics hub between the M1 and M621. He also recently handed over the newly opened Schneider Electric facility at Scarborough Business Park, a turnkey project delivered in partnership with Schneider and Caddick Construction.
- RICHARD BEASON | HUMBER FREEPORT | As Head of Investment at Humber Freeport, Richard has the responsibility for leading on attracting investors to the Humber Freeport tax sites, promoting innovation, decarbonisation, and skills and for promoting the Humber as a region as a great place to invest. Having held positions in both public and private sectors, most recently working in Economic Development for North Yorkshire council, Richard is passionate about working in partnership with public and private stakeholders to promote Humber Freeport as a catalyst to power the region’s growth and prosperity.
- STUART MURRAY | HARWORTH | With over 30 years’ experience in the sector, Stuart has worked on some of the most significant I&L developments in the UK and is now driving the development of Harworth’s 15,000-acre landbank across the Midlands, North West and Yorkshire. At Harworth, Stuart is responsible for securing occupiers for Harworth’s Industrial and Logistics Developments.
- DAVID WELLS, HBD | David has worked in property development for over 25 years mainly focussed on the north of England but particularly the Yorkshire market. In his current role at HBD, part of Henry Boot, he is working on the delivery of up to 5.5m sqft of industrial and logistics space in the Goole Freeport site as well as IAMP in the north east and Markham Vale in Derbyshire.
- ANNA WRIGGLESWORTH, CT GROUP | Anna is a highly accomplished political communications strategist with over 10 years of experience predominantly in the built environment and infrastructure sector. Advising clients on stakeholder engagement, with a laser focus on motivational drivers.
With a career background working as a senior campaign manager for the Labour Party and as a national officer for Unison, Anna has the skills and connections necessary to deliver strategic advice that speak to a wider political and commercial audience, providing clients with strategic engagement with key politicians and influencers at a local, regional and national level to ensure their voice is heard.
