CBBC picks No Chintz for new show

Manchester-based interior design agency No Chintz has been selected by CBBC to work with them on up to four episodes of new children's show I Want My Own Room!

No Chintz designer Becci Sharkey will work with children to help them create their dream rooms – whether that's their bedroom or another area in their home – which will become their own private space. She will assist in developing the children's own ideas and dreams and help turn them into reality.

Sharkey said: "I am really looking forward to working with CBBC on this project. The rest of the team at No Chintz are already bursting with ideas and we can't wait to get going."

No Chintz was set up in 2007 by Natalie Gray, Dominic Beardwell and Lucy Goddard.

Filming with CBBC is due to start early in the summer.
