Bootle flats approved

Euan Kellie Property Solutions has secured planning permission from Sefton Council on behalf of developer Brickland for the construction of a £3.5m 33-apartment scheme in Bootle.

The development will occupy a vacant commercial site in the Derby Park Conservation Area opposite the grade 2-listed Christ Church.

The site is located at 240 Hawthorne Road on the junction with Oxford Street.

The project was designed by Nicol Thomas Architects.

The units will be marketed at the over-55s market and Brickland is in discussions with a housing association to take on the long-term management of the building.

Construction is expected to start to site in the New Year.
