Bolton opens £3m property services tender
The council is seeking partners as it looks to establish a comprehensive framework to support current and future requirements across capital projects and its civic portfolio.
As set out in the tender document, the framework is intended to provide access to a broad range of technical disciplines required to deliver planned and prioritised works, lifecycle investment planning, statutory compliance, due diligence, feasibility studies, and comprehensive condition and asset surveys across the council’s property holdings.
Bolton said that the framework will ensure that it can draw upon suitably qualified and experienced professional consultants across the built environment to support strategic asset planning, project development, statutory compliance, capital programme formation, and evidence based decision making.
The framework is broken down into the following lots:
- Lot 1: building fabric and ground condition surveys
- Lot 2a: architect services
- Lot 2b: heritage architects services
- Lot 3: M&E and building services asset surveys
- Lot 4: quantity surveying, cost planning, and commercial support
- Lot 5: CDM and principal designer services
- Lot 6: structural and fire engineering (as required)
- Lot 7: multidisciplinary consultancy.
Bolton’s intention is that the framework will come into operation from 2 November 2026, and run for four years.
