Bluemantle adds to Cheadle Hulme tenant mix

Bluemantle has reported seven new tenants at its 34,000 sq ft office building, Metropolitan House, in Cheadle Hulme, achieving a new headline rent of £15/sq ft.

MyMoney Group, Baker Media and Retrak all agreed five-year leases occupying 4,000 sq ft, 1,500 sq ft and 1,000 sq ft respectively. Woodford Engineering signed a seven year lease for 450 sq ft and GMG Group agreed to take 700 sq ft for three years.

On the ground floor, Explore Learning agreed a 10-year lease on 1,400 sq ft and interior retailer, Homebird opened a 3,500 sq ft store after signing a 15-year lease.

Metropolitan House is in Station Road in the centre of Cheadle Hulme.

John Leighton of Bluemantle said: "We are pleased to have improved the profile and appearance of the building by introducing retailers to the ground floor. This has had a positive knock-on effect by attracting new office tenants to the building. We have significant interest in the remaining two small suites and expect to have let these within the next couple of months."

Williams Commercial, Impey and Matthews & Goodman are joint letting agents.
