BECG on board for Place partnership in 2021

The leading public consultation and political engagement adviser will work with Place North West throughout next year to support the region’s built environment sector through planning and policy changes ahead.

Kevin Whitmore

Kevin Whitmore, head of North at BECG, said: “I’m delighted that BECG has extended our partnership with Place North West; 2021 is set to be a crucial year for the region’s built environment.

“The Government’s #buildbackbetter pledge combined with progress due to be made on the GMSF and various Local Plans across the region, means that 2021 will be the year that the built environment sector builds the foundation for the North West’s economic recovery.

“We’re looking forward to building on our political engagement and public consultation Insight pieces to support key events across the year.”

BECG will use its package of conference sponsorship, including Transport & Infrastructure in May and Place RESI in September, as well as advertising and thought-leadership commentary to maintain the company’s strong profile and underpin business development among the property community served by Place North West.

Place Events in 2021

Whitmore continued: “As the region’s political landscape evolves following local and mayoral elections we will continue to provide the sector with our analysis of what this means. BECG is at the forefront of new digital methods to engage with communities about changes to their built environment. We will continue to offer insight into how virtual engagement platforms can engage effectively with communities across the region to build support for investment into our places.”
