Ask secures funding to unlock Central Spine

Bank of Scotland has agreed a £20.5m funding package for Ask Developments' Central Spine scheme in Manchester city centre.

The 3.2m sq ft development will comprise 19 new buildings, including a tower, a mix of offices, residential, hotel and leisure space, and two car parks.

The Bank of Scotland Corporate package will be used to fund 5.5 acres of land in the northern part of the 20-acre site, located around BT's former building at Grand Island.
