Another deal done as Manchester Green goes up for sale
Barwood Capital and DB Symmetry have let a further 4,400 sq ft at its Manchester Green business park, the news coming on the back of the park being marketed as an investment sale by JLL with a guide price of £23.1m.
Enviroride, trading as Greenmotion Car Rental, has relocated from Regus’ facility at nearby Manchester Business Park, having agreed a five-year lease. The remaining space in the building is occupied by Worley Parsons, which moved to Manchester Green in 2015.
Canning O’Neill and JLL are joint letting agents for the scheme; Greenmotion represented itself. The quoting rent is £17.50/sq ft.
Manchester Green comprises five office buildings offering 107,000 sq ft. Assetz Capital signed for 14,800 sq ft at Building Three in September. Other tenants now include Chiesi and Ingedion.
Ben Hunter, director at Greenmotion Car Rental, said: “From the outset we wanted a self-contained office, located close to Manchester Airport and one that provided ample car parking provision. The owners of Manchester Green worked with us to ensure our requirements were met.”
Barwood Capital acquired the business park, then known as Greencourts, in 2013 through its 2012 Property Fund. At that time, three of the five buildings were wholly vacant.
The site is now managed through the DB Symmetry joint venture established between Barwood and Delancey in 2015, and has been subject of a phased refurbishment programme.
