Agents appointed for fresh marketing of Didsbury Point
Countryside Properties and Liberty Property Trust have appointed P3 Property Consultants and Knight Frank to launch a series of new marketing initiatives aimed at securing new tenants at its joint venture scheme Didsbury Point.
The first phase of the building, originally named ico1 and comprising approximately 55,130 sq ft, was completed and launched in mid-summer 2007.
Despite a number of near misses, there are no tenants and the building is completely vacant.
Paul Rubincam, director at Liberty Property Trust, said: "We want to signal loud and clear that we are here to do deals. We understand the local market, what market segments are active and what users want. We have significantly moved our offer to appeal to a much wider occupancy base, in terms of size and type of user. The flexibility and value are also there – we want to do some deals."
Jones Lang LaSalle and Edwards & Co were previously instructed on the building.
Didsbury Point offers floor space from 2,500 sq ft and will now be known as One Didsbury Point.
Countryside Properties and Liberty Property Trust have installed a marketing and management suite at the building, where Jenny Westhead, formerly of Bruntwood Developments, has been recruited to spearhead the search for occupiers and provide a dedicated on-site presence.
