VIP Computers expands in Warrington

Williams Tarr Construction has been awarded the £1.3m design-and-build contract for a warehouse extension for VIP Computers at Hardwick Grange, Warrington.

Work on the 30,000 sq ft high bay extension starts next Monday 30 July and the facility will be operational before Christmas.

The design team includes RGP Architects and Thomasons Engineers, with the Vinden Partnership appointed as quantity surveyor and employer's agent.

John Hughes, design and build director of Williams Tarr Construction, said: "We are delighted to have been awarded this fast-track project for VIP Computer Centre; it maintains our focus on winning work in the North West and helps safeguard local employment. Most of our contracts are undertaken for private sector clients, on industrial, commercial and retail projects across the region."
