Urbanbubble to relocate to Sevendale

Residential property management company Urbanbubble has signed a 10-year lease on 5,900 sq ft on the first floor of Sevendale House in Manchester’s Northern Quarter.

The firm is moving from its current base at Swan Square, and plans to have relocated by November. The move is to accommodate Urbanbubble’s growing team, which is expected to more than double in size from 28 to 50 staff in the next four years.

Sevendale owner Philip J Davies Holdings completed a major renovation of the 120,000 sq ft building in September last year. The building contains 65,000 sq ft of office space and 15,000 sq ft of retail space.

Urbanbubble’s move to Sevendale House means the building is almost fully let with other tenants including Ticketmaster, Liquid Personnel and Code Computerlove. Over five floors, there is now 2,000 sq ft remaining.

Urbanbubble was represented by WHR. OBI Property represented Philip J Davies Holdings.

Michael Howard, managing director of Urbanbubble, said: “We love the North side of the city because of its character, heritage and the edge it has. Sevendale House is a beautiful piece of Manchester heritage and the work Mark Davies and his team have done to transform it, is simply brilliant. I am chuffed that we are only moving a few blocks from our Tib Street offices in Swan Square and Urbanbubble will be calling it home from November, which is when we plan to move in.”

Howard set up Urbanbubble in 2008. The company provides a range of services to developers, landlords and residents, with the aim of ensuring residential developments are managed and maintained to the highest standards.

The company manages more than 6,000 homes, equating to 8,500 residents, across 90 developments in Manchester and Salford.
