Scanlans hires take office to 35
The property management firm has promoted Philip Manson to partner and head of valuation and hired Mike Dutson and Anthony Kingdon.
Manson joined Scanlans in 2003, and was associate prior to his promotion. He will oversee residential and commercial valuations carried out by consultant surveyors in the area, and will be working closely with Lloyds Banking Group. He is also looking to recruit a commercial valuer to help with growing workload for the business. Manson is a law of property act receiver as well as a fellow of the Association of Property & Fixed Charge Receivers.
He is joined by Anthony Kingdon, property manager, and Mike Dutson, senior building surveyor. All will work from the Chorlton Street office.
Kingdon has joined from Mainstay Group, where he worked from May 2015 until August this year. During his time there, Kingdon was a senior manager training property managers and leading courses towards associate and member qualifications. He will be taking over the management of a number of sites while at Scanlans, including Oakmere Hall in Cheshire, which has 20 properties.
Dutson has joined after 18 months at Lancaster Maloney in Stockport, where he was a surveyor specialising in education and residential sectors. At Scanlans he is involved in a planned residential development in Salford.

Kingdon and Dutson bring the Manchester team up to 35 employees, including four partners.
