Resi specialist makes partner at Myerson

Carly Traverse has been promoted as the Altrincham firm continues to invest in its growing conveyancing team.

The firm said that Traverse advises a broad range of residential property clients, with her expertise including acquisitions, refinancing, portfolio transactions, property incorporations and title restructures.

Traverse rejoined the firm in 2023 following spells with Russell & Russell and then Hill Dickinson since she first worked at the practice in 2017.

She is one of six partner promotions this month as part of a record year of career progression at Myerson, with 13 promotions across the business in 2026.

The promotions follow the recent appointment of Richard Lloyd as chief executive, succeeding Carl Newton at the employee-owned firm.

Lloyd said: “Carly’s promotion is thoroughly deserved and reflects both her expertise and the important contribution she makes to our residential property team. She has built strong relationships with clients and referrers across the residential property market and shares our commitment to combining excellent technical advice with exceptional client service.

“Having seen 13 colleagues progress across Myerson this year, we are continuing to demonstrate our commitment to developing our people and creating genuine opportunities for progression as the firm grows.”
