Regency Glass signs for 125,000 sq ft in Warrington

The glazing manufacturer has signed a 15-year lease on two units at Indurent Park Trident in Birchwood.

Regency Glass, which manufactures insulating glazing units, has expanded its operations into Warrington with the 125,000 sq ft deal as it embarks on the development of a triple glazed product in partnership with US-based Corning Incorporated. Regency Glass also operates out of Leigh in Wigan.

Completed earlier this year by Caddick Construction for Indurent, the units have achieved BREEAM Excellent and EPC A certifications. As well as the manufacturing space, the deal sees Regency Glass take occupation of 5,400 sq ft of on-site office space.

Hannah Bryan-Williams, senior customer and leasing manager at Indurent, said: “Warrington is a well-established hub for logistics and manufacturing, attracting a wide range of occupiers from local manufacturers to global distributors, with this letting to Regency Glass adding to the park’s diverse occupier base.

“We have a long-standing confidence in the strength of this submarket and the appeal of the estate, and have invested significantly in upgrading Indurent Park Trident, working closely with local stakeholders to deliver sustainable, efficient space that supports local business growth and employment.”

Bradley Beazant, chief development officer at Regency Glass, called the deal “the most significant expansion” in the company’s history.

“The two adjacent industrial units we’ve secured are ideally suited to support our next phase of innovation and operational scale-up. We have developed a strong working relationship with Indurent and their key personnel, and we look forward to a successful and productive collaboration.”
