Redrow secures consent for next phase at Ledsham

The housebuilder’s application for 272 homes in its next phase of work at Ledsham Garden Village in Little Sutton has been given the go-ahead by Cheshire West & Chester Council.

The homes will sit across 55 acres and form part of the wider 150-acre site which already has outline planning permission for up to 1,570 homes.

Redrow secured the outline consent for the development off Ledsham Road in Ellesmere Port after it spent two years debating with the council over traffic issues and the use of agricultural land for housing development.

The first phase of 170 homes, called Oaklands, is currently on site. Houses are being marketed for sale from £253,995.

Redrow has been contacted regarding development timescales for the latest phase in light of coronavirus.
