Prospect rebrands Widnes estate
Following the purchase of the 24-acre former GE Technologies site on Foundry Lane, Prospect Estates has started a refurbishment of the estate and renamed it Widnes Business Park.
Local property agency BE Group has been appointed to market the estate alongside Cushman & Wakefield.
Simon Roddam, associate director at Warrington-based BE Group, said: "The variety of commercial space available at Widnes Business Park includes industrial warehousing, storage land and office accommodation. We have a flexible size mix available which enables us to accommodate a broad range of business requirements."
Roddam added: "With the Mersey Gateway Bridge now under construction, the locational benefits of Widnes Business Park are set to improve further."
Richard Sherwood, director of Widnes Business Park Ltd, a company established by Prospect Estates to directly manage the estate, said: "It is encouraging to see a good level of demand from local occupiers at this early stage in the marketing drive. A comprehensive refurbishment strategy of the estate is well underway, with the majority of works to be completed before the end of the year."
Widnes Business Park can accommodate industrial requirements from 1,000 sq ft unto 125,000 sq ft, and office requirements from 100 to 40,000 sq ft. Space is available to lease or for sale.
