Plans in for £60m Liverpool apartment complex
Anwyl Construction has released images of a £60m eco-friendly residential development in Pall Mall, following submission of an application to Liverpool City Council.
The proposed scheme will provide 336 apartments and includes a 21-storey tower.
The Flintshire-based builder proposes a mix of studio flats and one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments with retail and office space on the ground floor and a private garden terrace on the first floor.
The plans include a split-level car park, with space for 73 vehicles and 132 secure cycle spaces.
The scheme has been designed by Liverpool architects Falconer Chester Hall and demolition work has already begun on the buildings that currently stand on the site.
Anwyl director, Tom Anwyl, said: “This is the definition of modern city living. It will provide much needed high quality accommodation in the expanding Liverpool city centre commercial district, and support the redevelopment of the Pall Mall area.
“We are committed to ensuring that the areas in which we work benefit from the investment in them by ensuring that wherever possible we use local sub-contractors and source our materials through local supply chains and this is a policy we will continue in Liverpool.”
Last month Anwyl won planning permission for a £45m student accommodation development in Norton Street, Liverpool on the site of the former National Express coach station. The company is scheduled to build 300 houses this year and more than a thousand over the next three years.
