Place event: Cheshire West Development Forum
This free-to-attend half-day conference at the Memorial Hall in Northwich on 16 March will focus on regeneration progress and priorities in Cheshire West and Chester.
There will be presentations from Iain Jenkinson, director of GVA, with an overview of development prospects and Geoff Hope-Terry, chairman of the Weaver Valley Partnership, giving an update on progress by the council and public-private partnerships; and Chris Brown, chief executive, Visit Chester & Cheshire. The event is sponsored by Pochin, Housing Ladder UK and Marketing Projects.
The keynote presentations will be followed by breakout discussions around particular themes facing regenerators in the area such as destination marketing, development funding, residential supply and transport.
The forum takes place from 9am to 2pm on the morning of 16 March and will include lunch. This event will mark the culmination of the series of breakfasts hosted by Place North West and Cheshire West & Chester Council over recent months focusing on the four particular regeneration priorities pursued by the council: Weaver Valley, Ellesmere Port, Rural Economy and Chester.
