Persimmon appoints North West managing director

Ian Hilliker will lead the housebuilder’s Urmston-based team in delivering hundreds of homes in the region.

Hilliker has joined Persimmon from Vistry Partnerships, where he was also North West managing director. He has more than 30 years of experience working in property, including 18 years at Barratt Homes where he was technical director.

Hilliker will lead a team of 130 on multiple projects, including nine that are operational. Persimmon has projects around the region, including 433 homes in Maghull, and 124 homes in Bromborough.

He said that it was an exciting time to be joining Persimmon.

“With several developments already underway and applications progressing well with planning authorities, I’m looking forward to working with communities and policymakers to deliver much-needed, high-quality new homes,” Hilliker said.

Persimmon regional chair John Roocroft welcomed Hilliker’s recruitment.
