Berry steps up in AY’s ‘class of 2024’
Emma Berry has been promoted to principal at Avison Young, covering real estate, facilities, and infrastructure management at the firm’s Manchester office.
She is one of a four-strong UK cohort joining Avison Young’s 700 global principals.
The new UK principals, which also includes people in Leeds, Birmingham, and London, are part of a group of 33 new principals worldwide, who will help guide the strategy of the North American-headquartered business.
Nick Walkley, principal and UK president of Avison Young UK, said: “Principals are the backbone of our business, and welcoming these four dynamic and engaging leaders to this year’s cohort is a fantastic tribute to Avison Young in the UK.
“They all play a central role in providing industry-leading advice to clients, as well as having a fundamental role in evolving our advisory offering and business development.”
Berry’s title moving forward will be head of operations – real estate, facilities, and infrastructure management. She has been with the firm for around four years, and previously held roles at MAPP, CBRE, and Bruntwood, where she spent around six years in asset management.
