WSP hires construction director
Professional services and engineering consultancy WSP has appointed Amarpreet Singh as director of construction delivery, based in Manchester.
Singh joins WSP as it prepares to move 850 employees into 55,000 sq ft offices at No 8 First Street.
Singh joined from Costain Oil & Gas and will be working in the strategic business unit management team across the water, energy and industry sectors. He has expertise including construction management and engineering across both brownfield and greenfield sites.
With over 12 years’ experience, Singh has been involved with and delivered major project lifecycles for some of industry’s largest energy businesses such as Centrica Exploration, Total Exploration & Production, EDF energy, Premier Oil, Ineos, Rolls Royce and Magnox.
He said: “I am excited to be joining WSP and look forward to being involved in the growth of the water, energy and industry businesses, nationally and internationally.
“My role will be to support and enhance the scope, content and services available to WSP’s national and international clients by resolving their technical and construction challenges, across a variety of disciplines and sectors.”
