Vertical Recruitment hires construction specialist

Manchester-based Vertical has appointed managing consultant, Danny Craigie, to lead on construction recruitment.

Craigie has more than 18 years’ experience in recruitment and is a Fellow of the Institution of Recruitment Professionals.

He has spent the majority of his career recruiting site-based mechanical and electrical professionals including blue collar trades, contract managers, site managers, project managers, engineers and buyers, and has a particular interest in the North West mechanical & electrical construction market.

Craigie will now grow a construction recruitment team at Vertical, specialising in civils, project management, mechanical and electrical, and commercial management. He is currently assisting large national contractors, regional SMEs and specialist contractors in areas such as electrical installation, plumbing and heating, piping and fabrication.

Vertical specialises in construction and engineering recruitment, and has grown from eight to 13 staff in the last 12 months.
