Venture Housing appoints consultancy for asbestos work

Liverpool-based Venture Housing Association has appointed Pennington Choices to carry out asbestos surveys on 66 properties.

The contract includes carrying out surveys on flats, houses and bungalows and testing to allow kitchen and bathroom refurbishment works to begin.

This is the second asbestos contract awarded to Runcorn-based Pennington Choices since it acquired Bromley-based Invicta Analytical Services in August last year.

Paul Wright, head of Asbestos at Invicta, said: "Invicta and Pennington Choices are very pleased to have been awarded the contract for the asbestos surveys and testing by Venture Housing, we hope this will be the beginning of a strong partnership with Venture Housing and also help increase our North West asbestos client base."

Pennington Choices is a housing consultancy service for social landlords, commercial property owners, charities and organisations and has been in business since 2000.
