Tickets for Liverpool Summit with Kofi Annan selling fast

Over 750 tickets out of a 1,000 capacity have been sold for the main business event of Liverpool's Capital of Culture programme.

Seven of the world's most prominent leadership and business strategists, including former United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan, Tesco chief Sir Terry Leahy and Harvard professor of competitive strategy Michael Porter will address the conference.

The other speakers at the event, taking place on 1 and 2 October at the BT Convention Centre, Kings Dock, are Clayton Christensen, best-selling author on innovation; Will Hutton, journalist and political commentator; business author Renée Mauborgne; and Chris Patten, former European Commissioner for External Relations and Governor of Hong Kong.

The event is supported by the North West Development Agency and organised by Benchmark for Business. The event is also supported by the North West Business Leadership Team, the Financial Times, Liverpool John Moores University and Liverpool 08.
